IEL Asia-Pacific Employment Summit 2026
The fourth International Employment Lawyer (IEL) Asia-Pacific Employment Summit 2026 was held in Singapore, and our Partner, Robbie Julius was invited to speak during the session of “Bossware Unleashed: The Rise of Workplace Monitoring Technology” on 1 July 2026.
The session explored the growing use of AI-driven surveillance, biometric monitoring, behavioral analytics, and other emerging technologies that allow employers to track productivity, conduct, and even physical or emotional indicators in the workplace.
Together with fellow panelists, Robbie discussed the legal, regulatory, and reputational implications of these technologies, as well as the responses emerging from regulators, courts, employees, and businesses across the Asia-Pacific region.
