Alfonsus is an Indonesian-qualified lawyer with deep expertise in dispute resolution as well as bankruptcy and restructuring. He has represented both domestic and international clients in litigation and arbitration, as well as advised on crisis management, internal investigation and regulatory and criminal investigations before Indonesian law enforcement authorities. He has acted as counsel in a complex construction arbitration before the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI) and assisted a plantation sector group in one of Indonesia’s largest out-of-court debt restructurings, valued at approximately IDR 45 trillion and involving both local and international financial institutions. He also advised clients on project finance and infrastructure matters, notably including work on Indonesia’s first high-speed railway project.
Alfonsus earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada, where he actively participated in national and international moot court competitions, including the Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot. He is admitted to the Indonesian Bar (PERADI).
