The session explored several issues that are increasingly relevant to the industry, including business classification and licensing, compliance costs, digital financial assets, universal banking, and potential areas for collaboration and innovation. HKHSK Chair, Dr. Kukuh Komandoko Hadiwidjojo, S.H., M.Kn., provided an overview of the evolving regulatory framework, while HKHSK Vice Chair for Financial Sector II who is also our Partner, Abi Abadi Tisnadisastra, shared perspectives on how the P2SK Law may shape the growth of Indonesia’s fintech sector.
Beyond understanding the regulatory changes, the discussion highlighted the importance of continued dialogue between regulators, industry players, and other stakeholders to strike the right balance between regulatory certainty, consumer protection, and room for innovation.
